Understanding the Metro Toronto Convention Centre Seat Map

The Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) offers a flexible setup with multiple halls and rooms suitable for concerts, theatre performances, sporting events, and corporate gatherings. The largest space, Constitution Hall in the South Building, can accommodate up to 3,500 attendees in a theatre-style arrangement. The North Building features John Bassett Theatre, a purpose-built performance venue with a seating capacity of approximately 1,232, designed to offer exceptional sightlines and acoustics for every guest.

The typical MTCC seat map is divided into the following sections:

  • Orchestra/Main Floor: Closest to the stage, these seats provide immersive experiences with excellent views and sound. They’re highly sought after for headline events and keynote presentations.
  • Mezzanine/Balcony: Elevated seating that offers a panoramic perspective of the stage and main floor. These are great for larger groups and those who prefer a wider view of the action.
  • VIP and Premium Sections: Select events offer VIP seating with extra legroom, priority access, and premium amenities. These areas are typically situated in prime viewing locations and may include lounge access or exclusive services.
